This is the Jara’s General store in Fondfield, Trillolara
Seven sales clerks. Three unobtrusive guards. This store is rather busy all months of the year.
Wagons arrive on most week days with more goods. Extra workers are hired for the arrivals.
Jara died over 100 years ago. Various owners since then changed the name, and sold it, saying it was haunted. The present owner, Shella Johns, left it named “Jara’s”. No hauntings since then.
However, sometimes a customer finds they are waited on by a burly man with a large dark brown bushy beard. He sometimes even gives a bit of advice like ‘watch out for the red cat !’ then vanishes. He is the ghost of Jara. He does give correct change, and hasn’t attacked any customers nor anyone working here. The last pickpocket to try stealing here vanished. Sometimes the advice he gives has saved an adventuring party… and sometimes nothing happens, or nothing appears to happen, that resembles the advice.
